What inspired you to start Forward Golf Club as an agency?

Golf is full of untapped potential. Marketing and digitalization in the industry are often decades behind other industries. I wanted to create an agency that helps golf brands not just catch up—but overtake.

What’s your advice for brands in the golf industry?

Why settle for par when better is possible? Challenge the status quo, embrace innovation, and unlock your full potential. And don’t worry—we’ll help you break through.

Who is your ideal client?

Whether startup or global brand, size doesn’t matter. What matters is mindset. My ideal client is curious, embraces innovation, and is ready to move forward—through technology, better products, or new ideas.

Which market or industry trends are currently working in your favor?

AI is a true game changer for marketing and e-commerce. It doesn’t just improve results—it gets them faster. In golf terms, what used to be a Par 5 can now feel like a Par 3.

Most golf club websites aren’t designed to serve the player—or the business. I want to develop a platform where everything can be booked in one place: tee times, lessons, buggies, restaurant tables, even massages, physiotherapy, valet parking, or club cleaning. By making cross-selling and upselling seamless, golf clubs can enhance the player experience while unlocking new revenue opportunities.

What long-term vision are you pursuing with Forward Golf Club?

Our vision is to lead golf into the future. With Forward Golf Club, we are not just an agency—we are building the Golfverse: a holistic ecosystem where golf, science, performance, wellbeing, sustainability, purpose, and technology come together. From iconic golf course architecture to next-generation living, we are redefining what golf can be—for players, communities, and brands alike.

What would be a clear proof that your vision has become reality?

When we tee off on the Forward Golf Course, perfectly warmed up and nourished, in peak health—physically and mentally—within a modern ecosystem powered by science and fueled by purpose—that’s when the Golfverse will truly come to life.

How does your golfing experience influence your work?

Playing golf has taught me the importance of setting clear goals. Whether it’s the short game, the long game, or a business KPI, the more precisely you can define and visualize your target, the higher your chances of success.

Golf has also taught me resilience. In every round of golf, there will be bad shots or missed putts—but the game isn’t over until you sign the scorecard. –Tiger has missed putts and won Majors. The same applies to entrepreneurship: even when business goals seem far off, staying focused, adaptable, and motivated is key to achieving them.

What’s your favorite shot on the course?

I like the shots that Seve Ballesteros mastered best—through or over the trees, and also blind shots that demand imagination and full commitment. (That said, I still sometimes wonder how I can miss the green from just 100 meters!)
